How to Prepare for Your Appointment

Before you begin
- All our appointments are done virtually. You will need internet access on your laptop or computer. Many of our patients also use their phones but we ask you try and take your appointment in a private, quiet area.
- You can treat this as a phone call or video call - whatever you are comfortable with!
- You do not have to plan the appointment around a feeding
- You do not have to show any part of your breast if you do not wish to
- In appointment reminder messages we will ask you to fill out a few forms or answer questionnaires. It's important our team has all of this information to make sure you are receiving the best possible care
- Please test out joining an appointment at least 15 minutes before to make sure you don't have any technical issues. And please text us if you do so we can help!
Before you begin
- Each appointment has a unique link and pin for security, using a previous link and pin will not join you with your provider. If you need assistance in receiving your current link and pin, text us at: 888-991-6772
- Our providers are unable to facilitate an appointment if you are operating a vehicle
- Our providers will ask for permission to move forward with an appointment if you are in a public place
Once your appointment has been confirmed:
You will receive an email that your appointment has been scheduled to the email address you used to sign up. If this is your first appointment, this will also include a link to fill out an intake form prior to your appointment.


Appointment reminders will be sent via text and email- 24 hrs before your appointment + 1 hr before your appointment.
This email may contain links to a personal health questionnaire and an intake form (if you have not completed it previously). Please complete these prior to your appointment.
For your safety and privacy, In the 1 hour appt reminder text and email, there will be a link and a code to access your appointment.


In the appointment email there is also the option to call in!
You can choose to dial the toll free number and follow the prompts using the conference extension and pin code provided in your 1 hour appointment reminder email.
How to prepare for your appointment
You have the option to join from your computer or your cell phone
- Click the “Join the Telehealth Call” from the email to connect via cell phone or computer
- If you do not have access to Internet at the time of your appointment, dial the US Toll Free number and PIN from the appointment reminder email
Once connected, click the “Join from browser” to start the session immediately.
NOTE: you can always download the Vidyo app for future use!

How to join your appointment
You can opt to join via the browser or via the app.


You will be entered into the “waiting room.”
We recommend you test your microphone and speaker before the appointment by clicking the link, “Test Conference Hardware.”


Follow the prompts for testing your selected speaker.

Follow the prompts for testing your selected camera.
After you have tested the device that you are using, you will be taken back to the login screen where you will enter the pin (found in the text or email sent to you in the 1 hour appointment reminder) and be able to join your appointment!
